Cooley has been outside counsel to the Pac-12 Conference and its board of directors for the past 12 years, with Sheetz advising on a variety of matters, including the recent selection of its new commissioner. He also has represented select individual athletes in a variety of interests, including charitable foundations such as the Annika Foundation for golfer Annika Sorenstam. Chase’s work with sports, media and technology clients includes representing Zoom in its sponsorships with Formula One, golf’s European Tour and Chris Paul’s HBCU Leadership Series. He represented Root Insurance in its sponsorship of NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace and the No. 23 car for 23XI Racing. Cooley also is advising SeatGeek in its merger with RedBall Acquisition Corp. and plans to go public, which was announced last week.
