MLB Women’s Employee Resource Groups from MLB, MLS, the NBA, NFL and NHL hosted the first interleague, in-person International Women’s Day celebration on March 7 at MLB’s office in New York. More than 350 people attended in person from across all five leagues, with about 100 attending virtually. The weeklong, hands-on learning experience was hosted at Fanatics’ office in Jacksonville and provided an opportunity for participants to broaden the opportunities available to them and explore a new workforce after their football careers.
