The Florida Panthers will hold their first practice at their new training facility, the Baptist Health IcePlex at the FTL War Memorial, in downtown Ft. Lauderdale today. The training facility is part of the team’s broader redevelopment of the War Memorial, a 73-year-old civic center and park, into a sports and entertainment hub that includes two ice rinks, a 4,000-capacity music venue in partnership with LiveNation, and a bar and restaurant.
