After eight years of construction adjacent to Lambeau Field, the Packers continue to add to the 45-acre Titletown District that includes a four-diamond hotel, restaurant and brewery, sports medicine facility, bank, around 300 residences (nearly all of which have been sold or leased), the U.S. Venture Center and a 10-acre park featuring a snow-tubing hill, skating rink, playgrounds and a football field. The development played an important role in the city’s successful bid to host the 2025 NFL Draft. The transformation was the vision of Mark Murphy, who also spearheaded the decade-long Lambeau Field makeover shortly after joining the organization in 2007. Ed Policy, who has been around football all his life, drove the development’s TitletownTech initiative in the heart of the district, an early-stage venture capital partnership between the Packers and Microsoft. The project is run by Jackie Krutz, who joined the team in 2017 after helping develop Playa Vista, a 460-acre mixed-use development outside Los Angeles on the property once occupied by Howard Hughes’ aircraft plant, runway and hangars. — D.B.
