The 90th Masters Tournament tees off this week at Augusta National Golf Club, and though the club’s deep traditions remain, it continues to evolve with a number of enhancements that will aid both competitors and viewers alike.

First, on the player side, the club has unveiled its new Player Services Building, a three-story venue that has dining, a new locker room, a fitness center and more. Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video also continues dipping its toe further into sports and has picked up four hours of live coverage on Thursday (1-3pm ET both days) ahead of ESPN’s telecast. Tiger Woods will not be on site following his car crash and subsequent arrest 10 days ago, but the world’s best golfers will be. Rory McIlroy will defend his title from 2025, and this week will mark the first time in nine months that PGA Tour and LIV players will play against one another in a stroke play competition. On the patron side of things, Augusta National raised prices for ticket lottery winners in 2026. It’s also expected to continue trying to streamline its ticketing process.

Weather wise, things are looking pretty promising in Augusta for the weekend. Thursday will see the best chance of rain, although still only at 13%. Temperatures will remain mild throughout the tournament -- with highs of 74 degrees (Thursday), 77 degrees (Friday), 82 degrees (Saturday) and 84 degrees (Sunday).
