Forget that plastic globe of beach sand your grandparents brought back from Florida for you as a kid.
The Realest, authenticator of sports and entertainment industry collectibles and memorabilia, announced a partnership with PBR to launch an auction of used items collected during last week’s PBR World Finals: Championship at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Realest’s authenticators were on-site to collect event-used arena dirt, ropes, rider equipment and other memorabilia.
Items will go up for auction via TheRealest.com later this month.
The L.A.-based company secured $12M in another round of funding in December, including investment from Elysian Park Ventures, the investment arm of the Dodgers ownership group.
The Realest’s roster includes teams and players from the NFL, NBA, NHL, the MLB Players Association, FIFA, MLS, Unrivaled, the PGA of America, the PWHL, as well as “Wicked: For Good” and “Gladiator II” films.
The company collected, preserved and packaged snow from Lincoln Financial Field during the Eagles 2024 NFL playoff win over the Rams, selling the snow in Philadelphia Water Ice inspired Eagles packaging.
