Range Sports is turning one of its former clients into a colleague. Former NFLer Nathan Peterman is remaining with the agency through its football division as an agent, working under longtime representative, NFLPA agent Kyle Strongin.
Peterman will focus on talent identification and recruiting, NIL representation and, pending certification, NFL player representation. He is expected to become a certified NFL agent in the coming months. He will be based out of Jacksonville and report to Strongin.
Peterman brings nearly a decade of experience across both the NFL and high-level college football. A Senior Bowl alumnus, he was drafted in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills and went on to spend time with the Bills, Raiders and Bears.

At Range, Peterman is expected to leverage his first-hand understanding of roster churn, contracts and locker-room dynamics to advise players from high school through the NFL and beyond. He joins a 15-person Range Football group spread across L.A., N.Y., Nashville, Houston, Dallas and now Jacksonville, representing more than 60 NIL and NFL clients, including Brock Purdy, Cam Skattebo, Riley Moss and top BYU quarterback commit Ryder Lyons.
“I got to live through what I’m now getting tested on in the CBA,” Peterman said. “Being up and down on a roster, being put on IR, negotiating contracts. I hope I can help a younger person that’s on a similar journey.”
