NBC Sports Group today announced the launch of a new multiplatform marketing push around its coverage of the NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup. A series of video vignettes featuring reporter Rutledge Wood uses a lighthearted approach to explain the sport's playoff system before the Chase starts with the Sept. 20 MyAFibRisk.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway. The video series, viewable on NBC Sports' YouTube channel , features five 30-second spots and one two-and-a-half minute video ( THE DAILY ).
