The Pacers today announced that they have acquired the NBA D-League Fort Wayne Mad Ants, becoming the 10th NBA team to fully own and operate a D-League team. With the buy, all 19 D-League teams are singly affiliated with NBA franchises. The Mad Ants will continue to play home games at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, and team President Jeff Porter will stay with the team as President of Business ( Pacers ). The Pacers will play their final '15 preseason game against the Hornets in Fort Wayne "as a way to kick off this relationship" ( INDYSTAR.com, 9/9 ).
