PBR is opening a new 18,000-square-foot PBR Sport Performance Center within the convention center of Pueblo, Colo., and the bull riding series is describing it as a first-of-its-kind facility. The Endeavor-owned property says the new venue was developed in conjunction with Florida-based IMG Academy and represents the first training facility primarily focused on western sports and bull riding. PBR also named former NFLer Antwon Burton Exec Dir of the facility, which will aim to work with amateur and pro athletes even beyond PBR riders in areas like fitness, nutrition, training and recovery programs.
