GS Acquisitions LLC, an investment group that includes golfer PHIL MICKELSON and his agent STEVE LOY has "dropped its bid" to acquire Waffle House franchisee SouthEast Waffles. The group had offered $20.2M for the franchisee's assets , but Waffle House "objected to the plan" and creditors last week told GS that they "would not be supporting" the bid ( ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 8/19 ).
