The Rally, a new Twitter-based nightly highlights and trending topics show produced by 120 Sports and supported by BAM Tech, debuted last night, representing a key component of a large-scale deal announced in July between Twitter and MLBAM. The show, which will air 9:00-11:00pm ET on weeknights, features a fast-paced mix of highlights, live look-ins to games in progress, and discussion on trending sports topics incorporating Twitter data. Last night’s debut episode featured a guest appearance from Packers RB Eddie Lacy, and included hosts Abby Hornacek, Dave Ross, Tim Doyle, Clement Townsend, Rick Strom, and Tyler Jacobs. “The Rally” is being shown exclusively to U.S.-based Twitter users.
