Josh Borkin, a MLBPA-certified agent who formerly worked at ACES, Inc., has joined rival baseball player representation firm the Beverly Hills Sports Council. Borkin began work at BHSC yesterday and will work out of Miami, where he is based. Borkin will report to BHSC Partner and President Danny Horwits. Borkin had worked at ACES since '06 and was involved in working with minor league and MLB players in a variety of roles, including arbitration, contract negotiation and securing autograph and equipment deals. It is not clear what players, if any, may follow Borkin to BHSC.
