Broncos Season-Ticket Holders Who Did Not Attend Games Last Year Losing Their Seats

Broncos season-ticket holders who did not attend any games during the '16 season are "getting the boot, opening up seats for people at the front" of the nearly 75,000-deep waiting list for the "first time in six years," according to Danika Worthington of the DENVER POST. Broncos VP/PR Patrick Smyth in an email wrote that the Broncos are "still determining how many of the 22,000 season-ticket accounts will be up for grabs," but the number is "likely to be significant." Smyth noted that the team "knows who’s been selling all their tickets by tracking secondary market sales." The Broncos earlier this year announced that for the first time since '11, ticket prices "will not increase" (DENVER POST, 3/10).
