Dolphins Sell Out Season Tickets For First Time In Years, Create '18 Wait List

The Dolphins have "sold out of season tickets" for the '17 season, the "first time that has happened in recent memory," according to Armando Salguero of the MIAMI HERALD. The team for the first time has started taking deposits to "join a wait list" for '18 season tickets. The actual number of tickets sold is "not known because the Dolphins stopped publishing those numbers" after '13. However, a source said that it is "safe to say the number is somewhere between 50,000-60,000." The source added that the team has "enjoyed a steady growth" in season-ticket sales "practically every year" since '12 (MIAMIHERALD.com, 8/31).
