In the week since Oregon State won the College World Series, the Beavers are the third hottest-selling sports team behind the Lakers and Yankees, based on online sales at retailer Fanatics. Oregon State Deputy AD/External Operations Zack Lassiter said those purchases are overwhelmingly being made via mobile at 70%. Oregon State sales overall are 52% mobile. Lassiter said sales so far are tracking right along with sales from Florida’s CWS championship gear a year ago. Fanatics is Oregon State’s online retailer on the school’s official website.
