Team Liquid, the esports organization backed by Ted Leonsis, Jeff Vinik and Peter Guber, has signed Honda as its official car sponsor ahead of this weekend’s opening of the League of Legends Championship Series spring season. Team Liquid will arrive at the LCS on Saturday in a customized Honda Odyssey minivan, and the team will have team-branded Civics for its use during training. Honda will have a logo on the sleeve of Liquid’s LCS jerseys. Honda also will produce a six-part video series documenting Liquid’s teams in League of Legends, Fortnite and Dota 2. Terms were not disclosed. Honda previously had sponsored esports via the '18 NHL Gaming World Championship, and tournaments in Dota2 and Hearthstone.
