Peacock debuts "MLB Sunday Leadoff" package

Today's 11:30am ET game between the Red Sox and the White Sox “stands as the debut” for Peacock’s “MLB Sunday Leadoff” package, which will "feature an exclusive late-morning/early-afternoon game” over each of the next 18 Sundays. This particular game is being "simulcast on NBC.” The broadcast features “graphical and musical callbacks to NBC’s fondly remembered heyday of baseball coverage” in the '70s and '80s. “MLB Sunday Leadoff” each week will feature “an analyst from each of the two teams playing," with Jason Benetti "on play by play.” The analysts today are Kevin Youkilis from NESN and NBC Sports Chicago’s Steve Stone, Benetti’s “usual broadcast partner” on White Sox games (BOSTON GLOBE, 5/6).
