The issue: Capture some of the NFL tailgating experience outside a stadium, while boosting entry-level premium inventory.
Gist of the structure: The 12,000-square-foot Flockyard outside M&T Bank Stadium consists of 20 modular hospitality suites measuring 16 feet by 16 feet and stacked over two levels. A 3,000-square-foot rooftop terrace provides fans with a view of pregame and postgame tailgating action, and a third floor of suites can be added to the structure.
Each suite is Ravens branded and climate controlled, with permanent/permitted fire suppression, electrical and plumbing. Four food and beverage staging rooms support fans. Access to The Flockyard comes with lower-bowl seats in the stadium.
Filmwerks, is a provider of sports broadcast sets, will take two months to assemble the Flockyard, which will be ready in August ahead of the 2026 NFL season. The final structure will be built in a quarter of the time a traditional brick-and-mortar project needs, providing an additional two to three seasons of revenue generation, based on Filmwerks’ calculations.
Noteworthy: This structure is semi-permanent and didn’t require the Ravens to move subterranean utility infrastructure for its installation. The team plans on using it year-round (and not moving it).
