SPORTSERVICE INKS 25-YEAR CONCESSIONAIRE DEAL WITH SKYDOME

          Buffalo-based Sportservice Corp. has signed a 25-year
     food service contract with the SkyDome, according to Sharon
     Linstedt of the BUFFALO NEWS. Sportservice replaces
     McDonald's of Canada, which had held the SkyDome contract
     during the facility's first ten years of operation. 
     Linstedt noted the addition of SkyDome gives Sportservice
     "its third Canadian contract," as the company also operates
     concessions at Edmonton's SkyReach Centre as well as Telus
     Field, a minor league baseball facility.  Douglas Fontaine
     will serve as GM of the Toronto stadium venture, which will
     be called Ontario Sportservice (BUFFALO NEWS, 2/8).
