SBJ Atlas: Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas strutting strong apparel partnerships

Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas headed into the Masters this week continuing a strong run of optimizing their apparel partnerships during PGA Tour play this season. Johnson has been an Adidas athlete since '07 and ahead of this season the brand released a hockey-themed shoe-hat combo as the result of a collaboration between Johnson and Wayne Gretzky, the father of his longtime partner Paulina Gretzky. Johnson also has a deal with Prada and has used the hashtag #adidasforprada on Instagram.

Thomas signed a new deal with Greyson Clothiers to replace provider Ralph Lauren, which didn’t renew its deal with Thomas last year after a hot mic caught Thomas saying a homophobic slur. Greyson was founded by Charlie Schaefer, who was a former Senior VP/Design at Ralph Lauren.
